“My wife and I had spent a lot of time researching and eventually deciding on what we both wanted; essentially creating a superb social space in the garden for our family and friends, which included a full-sized pool table, TV and games area, plus a bar. We’ve recently finished the refurbishment of our home, so it was important that the Garden Room reflected the link between the house and outdoors, with respect to design, size and position.
Horto were easily our first choice, because we felt we could trust them to turn our plans into reality. Gary was extremely helpful and supportive from design stages to completion, he was just brilliant. When finished, we welcomed our family and friends for a New Years’ Eve party in the new Garden Room; their overall response was ‘Wow, what an amazing space!’ Horto were truly fantastic from beginning to end”
Fantastic from beginning to end. Gary’s experience was just what we were looking for, and we did lots of research and spoke to a number of different companies and Horto was easily our first choice. They made suggestions right from the design stage for example: suggesting a reinforced floor due to the heavy pool table. Horto also include a higher level of insulation as standard than many of their competitors and also checked with us throughout the build to see whether we wanted to change things e.g., socket positions, light positions etc. Gary even mocked up the pool table shape out of timbers so we could position the overhead light in exactly the right place, as well as building a fantastic bar feature! Just brilliant…
